Lull Studio

Our studios in Sydney and Tokyo are home to artists Elena Knox and Lindsay Webb. We work with associate artists Ed Leckie and Lian Loke, and maintain a small research atelier in Berlin.

Elena is a performance and media artist. Her works stage enactments of gender, sonzai-kan (presence・存在感), and kokoro (heart/mind・心) in technoscience and communications media. A director of Lull Studio, she is based in Tokyo at Waseda University's Department of Intermedia Art and Science. Elena's curriculum vitae is available here. Read recent profiles in Aera Japan and Art News New Zealand.

Lindsay is a director of Lull Studio focusing on environmental design and sound-based works including soundtracks for live performance and screen. With a special interest in aural phenomena in the built environment, he is involved in research into designing spaces for autism, dementia, mental health, and the mitigation of anxiety and sensory monotony. He is also Innovation Manager for Telstra Outdoor Networks. Lindsay's curriculum vitae is available here.
