Lull Studio

Our studios in Berlin and Tokyo are home to artists Elena Knox and Lindsay Webb.

 

Elena is a performance and media artist. Her works stage enactments of gender, sonzai-kan (presence・存在感), and kokoro (heart/mind・心) in technoscience and communications media. A director of Lull Studio, she is based in Tokyo at Waseda University's Department of Intermedia Art and Science. Elena's curriculum vitae is available here. Lindsay is a director of Lull Studio focusing on environmental design and sound-based works including soundtracks for live performance and screen. With a special interest in aural phenomena in the built environment, he is involved in research into designing spaces for autism, dementia, mental health, and the mitigation of anxiety and sensory monotony.
