For VIVID Sydney, Perspectives: Sight (Site) Uncovered at The Galeries, curated by Rachael Kiang and Volker Kuchelmeister, investigated the confluence of consumption with technology, nature and identity. Co-opting the fragmentary nature of the multi-screen array, it challenged commuters, visitors and shoppers to experience different possibilities of rhythm and space.

New to VIVID in 2016, Perspectives brought together some of the most prominent video artists from Australia and the world in Vivid’s first indoor precinct. A massive LED screen divided into 18 fragments created an immersive galaxy of colour, light and movement, accompanied by VJ custom remixes.
